Help build the bank behind the bank.
Stitch is small and early. We are building a full-stack SMB bank that community banks and community lenders offer under their own brand.
We hope what we are building resonates with you emotionally and intrigues you intellectually. We believe that real-world community matters, that community finance is critical to it, and that Stitch cannot trade away its mission.
We also know that much of what community finance needs lies in complex and evolving technology and data systems. Challenging problems we are addressing include designing fraud defense that puts a banker with personal knowledge back in the loop; building an identity record that carries between institutions; creating toggles between a fast embedded experience and a deliberately slower, human-touch one; and running programmable money and accounts for software agents inside a regulated bank rather than around one.
You will learn that we have many audacious goals and unconventional views. Your success at Stitch will depend on you being intrinsically motivated, perpetually curious, willing to own difficult problems at an early-stage company and work relentlessly.

Risk Operations Associate
The first non-executive hire in risk and compliance, building the controls, data, and systems behind the Bank’s risk and compliance programs. Reports to the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer.
Stitch Bank is an equal opportunity employer.
Both sides of the business.
The discipline of banking and the pace of fintech rarely live in the same person. We hire for people who have felt the tension and want to resolve it.
You have run something regulated
Lending, compliance, operations, or risk at a bank, a community lender, or a fintech that carried real accountability.
You ship
Product, engineering, or data people who have taken a thing from idea to customers and stayed with it after launch.
You care who the borrower is
The work is for main street businesses and the institutions that serve them. That has to matter to you.
You are fine with early
Small team, direct conversations, a short list of products done properly. If you need the machine to already exist, this is not the place yet.
